This book is a memoir about downward mobility, disability and growing up in and around Castlemaine.
Sam always knew he was starting life on the back foot. When his parents split, Sam, his mother and his brother had to learn to survive in a world not built for single-parent families.
The event is a Greens fundraiser, so you can also meet Liza Shaw, Greens Candidate for Bendigo West.
The talk will take place at 3pm. The price is $35, or $20 concession, and includes drinks and nibbles. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and vegan snacks will all be available.
