To coincide with R U OK? Day (September 9) and National Suicide Prevent Day (September 10) grassroots Castlemaine health promotion organisation Hope Assistance Local Tradies (HALT) is working to reduce suicides in the trades and construction workforce with the launch of a new initiative.
The campaign aims to get the message of help-seeking out to tradies on building sites nationwide.
It centres on a sticker for the back of toilet doors on work sites, using QR code technology that links directly to a curated list of mental health resources and support services. See the Mail for the full story…
