One month to go…

There is just one month to go until Castlemaine State Festival opens its doors to culture connoisseurs. Many of the events will be taking place on the stage at the Western Reserve including a performance by Australian soprano Cathy-Di Zhang.
The talented performer has graced stages in many guises, among them seamstress, water nymph, gypsy and servant, and in 2019 alone she sang in Italy, Belgium, China, France and Holland.
At the Castlemaine State Festival she will deviate from the diva script and design her own concert, interspersing some of the most popular arias from Mozart, Lehár, Puccini and more, with Chinese art songs of the past 100 years.
For this special concert, a pianist will accompany her from the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM).
Tickets for the highly anticipated 2021 festival are going fast, and with limited capacity at some of the venues it’s time to snap up your ticket to an event at Australia’s largest regional arts festival which runs from March 19-April 4. Visit castlemainefestival.com.au
