The Castlemaine Mail Junior Sports Star of the Week is Castlemaine Goldfields soccer player and Melbourne Victory supporter Tai Kerin.

Sport: Soccer

How long have you been training? 10 years

Can you tell us about some of your sporting highlights? Being top goal scorer in the league in Under 14’s, being invited to play above my age.

Who is an athlete you admire? Leandro Trossard

What are your sporting goals? I play for fun (I referee too).

Do you play any other sports? No, soccer is life.

Any other highlights? Being a Victory Member and taking home the match ball when I went to see a game in Sydney.
