The Castlemaine Mail became the story Thursday morning when our team arrived to find our office at 13 Hargraves Street flooded as a result of Wednesday night’s deluge.
Rain had seeped into the office and flooded the floors and we had to call on the amazing crew from our local SES for support.
As the saying goes the show must go on and the team worked remotely to send our final pages to press as the clean-up began. Thanks to all the local tradespeople which were quick to assist us including Paul Cochrane of PCE Electrical and Luke Pritchard of Luke Pritchard Plumbing.
Stay tuned to our social media regarding the temporary office closure and contact details. You can get today’s Mail from the local newsagents, Castlemaine IGA in Barker Street or your local store. You can also read the weekly Mail online via our website by becoming a digital subscriber.
