Easter in the Shire

The festivities kicked off with the opening of the 147th Maldon Easter Fair on Thursday evening with the lighting of the tower lights on Mount Tarrengower and the Aussie Scone Bake, followed by the Way of the Cross multi-denomination event on Good Friday in Castlemaine which saw representatives of local churches and community members stop at various ‘stations’ across the town to observe readings.
