CDNA squad shines

The Castlemaine District Netball Association 17 & Under representative squad had finished runnersup in the Maryborough Netball Association's annual tournament last weekend in a superb effort. The CDNA team played their absolute hearts out in the tournament Grand Final showdown against hosts Maryborough going down in nail-biting double overtime by two goals - 17 to 15. The Castlemaine side should be extremely proud of their efforts to make the big one and to chase the title all the way down to the wire! The CDNA sends huge thanks to squad coach Melanie Jayne for the work she has done with the girls this season. Thanks also to team manager Sarah Fletcher and umpire Jack Davidge. Thanks also to all of the CDNA members and supporters who stayed to support the girls in the Grand Final. The whole association could not be prouder of their efforts. Congratulations also go to the CDNA's 11 & Under, 13 & Under and 15 & Under squads on some fantastic matches across the tournament. The 13s and 15s were unlucky to just miss out on the finals berth.
